Mrs Priest wanted a modern informal design, with a small patio. She asked for a warm colour palette with a lot of evergreen plants for year-round interest. A screen hides the bin area. Decorative gravel is used to fill in gaps between the lawn and the beds. The planting is low-maintenance.
A modern cottage design for Anne K. Planters are added to separate the patio area from the rest of the garden. Two rectangular borders complement the modern look. A flowering cherry tree is a focal point of the garden.
A different design for Anne K with an oval shaped lawn and curved borders. This gives a softer and more enclosed feel to the space.
